Costume Design

A collection of costume design and production work featuring projects for Kings Island’s Halloween Haunt and Grand Carnivale, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, East to Vest Productions, and Greater Hamilton Civic Theatre.

Greg

Post Apocalyptic Menace

This "feature creature" costume was created for Kings Island’s Halloween Haunt, with inspiration drawn from Mad Max: Fury Road.

Driven by fury and an unrelenting thirst for blood, Greg’s costume includes belted cargo pants, rugged armor pieces, a chest plate, and a retrofitted survival mask. Each element was deliberately distressed using various techniques to evoke the harsh, barren desert landscape featured in the film.

PHANTOM THEATER

Constructed costumes for aerialists in Kings Island’s Phantom Theater.

East to Vest

Worked as a volunteer design assistant for local costume production company.

Alien Abyss

Kings Island Haunted House

Alien Abyss is a haunted house set in a government science facility where a deadly experiment spirals out of control. Alien soldiers lurk around every corner, ready to strike.

The alien armor was crafted from laser-etched EVA foam, custom-painted to achieve a sci-fi metallic finish that would reflect under the dim lighting of the dismantled laboratory. Leg and wrist guards were also painted to match the overall look, creating a seamless, menacing appearance.

Upcyled Pillowcase

Custom patterning & construction of a coset using a thrifted pillow sham.
